Comedy Driving is state approved for teaching defensive driving classes in Texas. It does not matter what zip code, county or city you received your ticket from, we can teach you defensive driving.

Q: "If I take defensive driving for the insurance discount
only, may I take it again for ticket dismissal in the same
year?"
A: Yes! If you take
defensive driving for the insurance discount only, you can take it again in the
same year for a ticket dismissal.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Currently Katy Freeway, Sugar
Land, League City and Willowbrook locations accepts payment by Cash, Check or
Money Order.
We can accept debit cards for a one dollar convenience fee.
*We do not accept credit cards*
Q: "How soon after I complete the class will I get my
Certificate of Completion?"
A: At the Katy Freeway, Sugar Land, Willowbrook, and the League City locations ... your
Certificate of Completion will be mailed within 1 business
day after the completion of your class! We do
everything we can to drop the certificates in the mail the
same day as class.
Q: "Do I have to talk to the Court before taking the class?"
A: You must "get permission" from the
Court before taking the class for a ticket dismissal. When you
go to the Court be sure to take with you: Proof of Insurance and
Driver's License. The officer who gave you the ticket, can
not give your permission to take the class.
Q: Do we get breaks?
A: Yes ... there are breaks
throughout the class.
Q: How long is the lunch break?
A: There is a 30 min. lunch break, you can
leave the classroom or just enjoy the meal provided with the
optional fee.
Q: Do you have something to snack on?
A: Free coffee and water is available.
All locations have vending machines as well.
Q: How do I get there?
Katy
A: From Katy - take I-10 East exit Wilcrest, go through the light at Wilcrest go about 1/2 mile more right past the Allon Health Center we are in a two tone orange building that says Defensive Driving in big white letters. ( 10891 Katy Freeway, Houston, Tx 77079 ) If you are coming from downtown Houston take I-10 West exit Wilcrest, make a u-turn at Wilcrest drive back towards the Beltway about 1/2 mile, right past the Allon Health Center we are in a two tone orange building that says Defensive Driving in big white letters.( 10891 Katy Freeway, Houston, Tx 77079 ) Comedy Driving is in-between Wilcrest and the Beltway on the right side of the feeder, two tone orange shopping center with big white letters that say Defensive driving. Another neighbor in the same shopping center is Nikki's Irish Pub There is a picture of the outside of the building on the Katy Freeway Page.
Q: How do I get there?
League City
A: We are located on the southwest corner of 518 and I-45. The physical address is 143 Gulf Freeway South League City, Texas 77573. If heading south on 1-45 exit FM 518 (exit 23) turn right on 518 and we will be on the Southwest Corner of 518 and the I-45 feeder road. There is a Pawn Shop, Eagle Dancer, Window Shop and Pool Place in the same shopping center. If on 1-45 heading North exit FM 518 (exit 23) turn left under the freeway and turn into the red and white shopping center on your left, there is a picture of the outside of the building on the League City Page.
Q: How do I get there?
Sugar Land
A: Sugar Land location is located on 59 South between Dairy Ashford and Highway 90. If you are coming from Houston traveling to Sugar Land exit Dairy Ashford make a uturn at Dairy Ashford and our location will be less than a half a mile back on the right in a two story white building with a red sign that says Defensive Driving on the top left corner. If you are traveling from Sugar Land to Houston on 59 exit Dairy Ashford and we are less than a half a mile past Dairy Ashford on the right. Our Sugar Land location is in a white buiding with archers with red letters that state Defensive Driving. We are right next door to the Goodwill and Auto Insurance Discounters.
Q: How do I get there?
Willowbrook
A:Willowbrook Location is located a half mile south of Willowbrook mall on FM 1960. If coming from 290 after passing Perry Road we are in the red and white shopping center across from Prime Time Steakhouse and the Mister Car wash. If you are coming from 249 on FM 1960 take 1960 towards 290 we are one mile going south from Willowbrook on the right across from the Mister Car Wash and Prime Time Steakhouse. There are a couple of large businesses in our shopping center Central Business, Subway and Weight Watchers.
Q: Where should I park?
A: Katy Freeway there is some parking available in front,
and about 50 parking spaces in the rear of the building.
A: League City there is plenty of parking available in front.
A: Sugar Land there is parking available in front, and
about 35 parking spaces in a parking area.
A: Willowbrook there is plenty of parking available in front.
Q: Will you have a class if I am the only person there?
A: Yes! That would be extremely unlikely
though.
Q: "What should I bring with me when I come?"
A: Just your Texas Drivers License, Court
information (the paperwork the court gave you when you
received permission from the court to take the class, we do
not need your drivers record for the class),
and your sense of humor!
Q: "Do I need my driving record for the class?"
A: No
you don't need the Driving Record for the Class . . . but most
courts do require it to be submitted with the certificates to
the courts.

available?
A: Yes there is a Notary
